Makati

Guadalupe Nuevo Park

 

Guadalupe Nuevo is part of the North Central Cluster of Makati City.  The park is a 5 minute walk from Lounge.Ph.

 

Parc House 2 building which houses Lounge.Ph is within a short walking distance from MRT Guadalupe station.  The building is right along EDSA generally classified as commercial areas while inner portions are mostly residential for Makati's working class.

 

Predominantly, the type of business establishments located within the barangay are small and medium stores, banks, restaurants, hotels/tourism-related establishments, among others. Also, the largest public wet market of Makati is located at the barangay.

Ayala Center

 

Ayala Center is a major commercial development operated by

Ayala Land located in the central business district of Makati, about 8 minutes ride by MRT from Lounge.Ph.  It is a premier shopping and cultural district in Metro Manila.  The area is bounded by Ayala Avenue on the east, Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) on the south, Arnaiz Avenue on the west, and to north by Legazpi Street and Paseo de Roxas.

 

The Ayala MRT Station of the MRT Line 3 serves the area. The development originally started with a number of separate shopping arcades and Greenbelt Park before expanding to cover over 50 hectares. Glorietta and Greenbelt Malls is located within the complex

The Ortigas Center

 

Ortigas Center is a financial and central business district located at the boundaries of Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City in the Philippines and is about 9 minutes ride by MRT from Lounge.Ph.

 

Ortigas Center is home to many shopping malls, office and condominium skyscrapers, other building complexes, nightlife bars and restaurants. These include the St. Francis Square, the Asian Development Bank compound, the Oakwood Premier serviced apartments and a Shangri-La hotel. It is also the headquarters of San Miguel Corporation, Jollibee Foods Corporation, the Philippine branch of HSBC, and Robinsons Galleria. Also present in the area are Philippine offices of prominent engineering firms such as Parsons Brinckerhoff, Sinclair Knight Merz, and WSP Group. It also home to the Banco de Oro main office owned by mall taipan Henry Sy, Sr. SM Megamall, the third largest mall in the world and the largest in the country, is also in the Center along EDSA.

Bonifacio Global City

 

BGC is an emerging primier business and commercial district about 10 minutes taxi ride from Lounge.Ph. It is located 11 km (6.8 mi) south-east of the center of Manila.  The area is currently under jurisdiction of the city of Taguig. In recent years, the district has experienced robust commercial growth through the sale of military land by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). The entire district used to be the part of the main Philippine Army camp. 

 

BGC will be future home of the Philippine Stock Exchange and other Major Enterprises in the country. 

Rockwell Center

 

The Rockwell Center is a high-end mixed-use 15.5-hectare property10 minute drive to Lounge.Ph.  Walkable from the property, would take a minimum of 20 minutes and would traverse the EDSA highway.  

 

It is a project of the Rockwell Land Corporation, which is owned by the Lopez family. The Rockwell Center includes office buildings, condominium towers, a law and business school and a shopping mall.

 

Entertainment City

 

Entertainment City (also known as Bagong Nayong Pilipino - Entertainment City) or previously Manila Bay Tourism City is Asia's Las Vegas-like gaming and entertainment complex that is underway by PAGCOR on 8 km² of land on the reclamation area of Manila Bay, Philippines as envisioned PAGCOR in 2002. It lies the western side of Roxas Boulevard and south of SM Corporate District (SM Mall of Asia), part of Parañaque City. Investments to the project can reach up to $15 billion, which is scaled down from the more recent $20 billion budget announcement that had been previously announced in 2007. All investments will come from private companies.

 

The Entertainment City is located kilometers from Lounge.PH.  It is about 45 minute taxi ride or 30 minutes by the MRT.

Star City

 

Star City is an amusement park that spands about 35000 m² of land. The park resides in Pasay and is a part of the reclaimed area of the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, part of Bay City. The park is owned by Star Parks Corporation, a subsidiary of Elizalde Holdings Corporation.

Star City is about 8.2 kilometers from Lounge.PH with a 28 minute taxi ride from our area to their area.

Rizal Park

 

Rizal Park (also known as Luneta Park and formally known as Bagumbayan during the Spanish period) is a historical park located in Ermita, Manila. This was the site where Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal was executed with a memorial now standing to honor him. Also in this park is the National Museum of Natual History, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Fine Arts.

Rizal Park is about 11.8 km from Lounge.Ph and a 38 minute drive by car.

Intramuros

 

Intramuros is the Walled City and one of the oldest districts within Manila. The town was built as a defense during the Spanish Colonial Period since it was known as the seat of the Spanish Government during that time. The town is famous for its "old world" look along with the multiple landmarks locate within its walls such as the San Augustin Church; the oldest church in the Philippines, the Manila Cathedral; the premier church of the Philippines, and Fort Santiago; a headquarters of the armies of several foreign powers in Philippine history. 

Intarmuos is 13.6 km away from Lounge.Ph taking about 38 minutes of driving to get to the location

Pililla

Pililla Wind Farm 

The Pilillia Wind Farm consists of a lane of 27 wind turbines among the towering hills of Pilillia which has a clear view of Laguna de Bay. This farm was manufactured by Alternergy Wind One Corp with the purpose to supply clean energy to the residents of Rizal and Laguna. This farm can produce up to 150 gigawatts yearly.

The area is 17.2 kilometers from My Country Home. With a 31 minute drive by either car or taxi.

Lyger Animal Sanctuary

The Lyger Animal Sanctuary is a zoo that consists of multiple animals with the main attraction being the Lygers a rare species that are a hybrid of a lion and tiger. 

The sanctuary is about 10.5 km away from the My Country Home with a 22 minute drive by either car or taxi.
